Express Solicitors gets £10 million funding deal from RBS

Express Solicitors has secured a £10m funding package from The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) it to help it support its growth ambitions.

Express hopes to use the financing to help it deliver both organic and acquisition based expansion, as well as providing funding for its day-to-day working capital needs.

James Maxey (pictured, left), the managing partner of Express Solicitors said that the firm’s book of cases had risen from 2,355 to 6,833 since 2012, proving it was thriving.

“The funding package we have secured with RBS will enable us to focus on the growth of the business without having to compromise on other areas,” said Maxey.

“It is our intention to begin to look at more competitor acquisitions as an additional means of securing growth and the funding will support this.”

Steve Taylor (pictured, right), senior relationship manager at RBS, praised Express for having a management team with a very clear set of objectives for the company.
