Former APIL President Matthew Stockwell joins Outer Temple’s clinical negligence team

Matthew Stockwell has joined Outer Temple Chambers.

The former President of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) is a leading senior junior in serious injury litigation and welfare related public law work.

Outer Temple said that Stockell’s practice in clinical negligence, mental health, professional negligence claims (arising out of the conduct of personal injury litigation and related insurance and indemnity issues), capacity & consent, and public law, made him a valuable addition to its health department.

Stockwell served on the national executive committee of APIL between 2007 and 2015. Hw was Vice President in 2012 and President in 2013 and is co-author of the APIL Guide to Accidents at Work.
