Express solicitors expands with ten new fee earners

Express Solicitors has appointed ten new fee earners to meet growing demand for its services. The new recruits arrive following the Manchester-based firm’s acquisition of 450 files from Ashfield Solicitors, as well as an annual 45% rise in volume of its own caseloads.

The biggest staff influx arrives within the employer’s liability office, which has seen Nicola Irvine and Fiona Barrett, Elizabeth Poole, Emma Clarke and Laura Ward join as associate solicitors.

Assistant solicitors Lisa Marie Musgrave and Davina McCreary have joined Express Solicitors’ clinical negligence department while the occupiers and public liability department has welcomed Catherine Lansley and Steven Jewel as assistant solicitors. Sophie Loxley has joined the firm as a senior litigation executive.

The new fee earners join over 100 other fee earners, in addition to 16 partners, at the North West firm.

Managing partner James Maxey said: “While we needed more lawyers on board, we’ve taken our time to ensure we’ve chosen the most talented people out there, who also have the right experience and attitude.”
