Fusion Law and Pure Legal are to host a two day symposium on medico-legal advancements in Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) claims in Manchester on 4 and 5 February.

Held at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel, the event will see leading academic Professor Mark Lutman, Emeritus Professor of Audiology, present what has been described as a “game changing” paper on quantifying NIHL in medico-legal cases.

As a follow up to Professor Lutman’s exclusive talk, there will also be a masterclass on how to value cases based on the new paper delivered by Chris Fry of Fusion Law. Other speakers will include Zoe Holland from Zebra LC, who will talk about the rising tide of professional negligence claims in NIHL cases and PURE Legal’s Phil Hodgkinson who will deliver his vision of the the future of noise claims.

The symposium will also see piCalculaor offically launch its new noiseCalculator tool, designed to assist case handlers.
