Claims Consortium Group enhances IT operations with recruitment of two non-executive directors

Claims handling firm Claims Consortium Group has announced the appointment of two non-executive directors to support its growing IT operations.

Steve Grieve joins the business with over 30 years of experience working at Zurich Insurance Plc most recently as Business Operations Director for Personal Lines and Endsleigh. He has extensive experience working in the general insurance industry including roles at Executive and Board level and specifically brings a wealth of IT security, transformation and strategic experience with him.

Ellie Barlow comes to the company after 14 years in financial services, most recently as director of digital insurance at KMPG. Ellie has worked in strategy and development roles across household names including Zurich, MoneySuperMarket.com and comparethemarket.com.

Jeremy Hyams, CEO at Claims Consortium Group, said the appointments provide further evidence of the company’s strategy to innovate in the IT arena and grow through technology.

“These appointments will further our efforts to raise standards of customer service in our industry,” he said.
