Allianz has launched a video streaming platform, Allianz Site View, which enables customers to conduct live video interactions with insurers in support of their property claim.
Partnering with 360Globalnet, Allianz has developed Allianz Site View to allow both personal and commercial property customers to instantly share information about their claims.
It works by sending a link to customers who have brought a claim via SMS or email which they can use to live stream a video showing the damage to their property. Customers can also send images or video clips taken earlier if they wish. During the platform’s pilot scheme, Allianz noticed a faster settlement time in many cases.
360Globalnet has said that the digital platform can manage all media, including video and easy to configure tools offer a host of benefits such as automated workflows, the deployment of AI link-ups and a single digital record distributed throughout the supply chain, which can streamline processes and curb opportunistic fraud.
Ibi Moghraby, head of claims strategy & customer experience, at Allianz said that the insurer was continuously looking for new ways to improve its claims proposition and make things easier for its customers.
“It’s great that we are offering another digital means of communication, and by doing so, we’ve streamlined our internal processes and significantly reduced the time it takes to settle claims,” he said.
“Since launching the platform we’ve experienced high levels of customer engagement and satisfaction, which is fantastic. Over the course of the year we’ll be looking at other ways we can exploit this technology to help our customers.”
360Globalnet’s technology has processed over 650,000 insurance claims to date.
