Fletchers Solicitors has appointed its 400th team member, meaning that the firm has increased its headcount by 345% since 2012.
Five years ago the medical negligence and serious injury firm had 90 employees – it now has ambitious plans to become a top 100 law firm by 2018. It reached the 400-employee mark after investing in 29 new team members at its new Manchester office. Key hires included Tim Scott, who was appointed as director of people to further develop the firm’s already award-winning employment practices.
This year Fletchers was named as a Sunday Times Top 100 Companies to Work for in 2017, for the second year running, and named by Great Places to Work as one of the Best Workplaces in the UK. Fletchers was the only law firm in the country to be included in both lists.
Ed Fletcher, CEO of Fletchers Solicitors (pictured), said: “Reaching the 400 team member landmark is a fantastic achievement and coupled with the firm’s recent accolades I’m confident we’re on target for achieving Top 100 law firm status by 2018.
“As a firm we strive to attract, develop and retain the very best people to not only provide our customers with a fantastic service, but also further our leadership within the medical negligence, serious injury and motorbike accident sectors.”
