Gateley Smithers Purslow recruits expert for accommodation reports in personal injury cases

Gateley Smithers Purslow has bolstered its specialist forensic and expert witness team with the appointment of Keith Hilton as a senior building surveyor.

The chartered surveying practice’s forensic and expert witness team provides a range of surveying, engineering and architectural expertise for dispute and litigation matters, including accommodation reports in personal injury and medical negligence cases.

Hilton will join the part of the team that carries out this work and will utilise his more than 35 years of architectural and building surveying experience.

Based out of the Manchester office, Hilton will work closely with long-standing forensic consultant and chartered architect Paul Vipond and chartered building surveyor and RICS-registered valuer Michael Crosby.

Both Vipond and Crosby have extensive experience in providing forensic and expert witness services across the country and abroad.

On his appointment, Hilton said: “Having worked with Michael in previous roles, I was confident that the position at Gateley Smithers Purslow would be a great fit.

“The role will allow me to apply and develop my experience within this specialist field and I’m looking forward to being part of an industry-leading team.”
