CNA Hardy strengthens UK Marine team with new senior underwriters

CNA Hardy, a specialist in commercial insurance, has boosted its UK Marine team by adding three senior underwriters and promoting one internal candidate.

Trevor McAuley is now Senior Marine Underwriter in Glasgow. He’ll handle Marine Cargo and Transport & Logistics underwriting for Scotland & Ireland, along with Marine Equipment/Subsea underwriting for UK company business. With 30 years of experience, McAuley has worked at Allianz, XL Catlin, RSA, and Tokio Marine. 

Conlie Wong joins as Senior Underwriter, overseeing Marine Cargo and Transport & Logistics renewal underwriting in Manchester. Wong, also with 30 years of insurance experience, has worked at Tokio Marine and Catlin. 

Hugh Consitt, the new Senior Marine Development Underwriter based in Manchester, will focus on new business development for Marine Cargo in the North of England. Consitt was previously a Regional Senior Cargo Underwriter at Chubb. 

Additionally, Michael Slack has been promoted to Senior Technical Underwriter for Transport & Logistics business in the UK. Slack, based in Manchester, has been with CNA Hardy since 2014.
