McLarens, the global claims services provider, expands its UK & Ireland Private Clients & Estates team with the addition of Lisa Usman as an Adjuster/Conservation Specialist. The move enhances McLarens’ support for High Net Worth (HNW) clients in assessing, conserving, and restoring rare artifacts.
Lisa Usman brings three degrees and 27 years of experience to her new role. With qualifications in Archaeological Conservation, Forensic Archaeology Science, and cultural heritage protection in natural disasters, she’s an accomplished specialist.
Having worked in the Middle East and Qatar Museums, Usman’s UK experience includes roles with conservation specialists Plowden and Smith and Richfords Fire & Flood, where she established the HNW contents response team. Her expertise in handling significant losses and preventing further damage is well-established, making her a valuable addition.
Usman joins a growing team at McLarens Private Clients & Estates, now totalling 16 specialist adjusters since its launch six years ago. The team provides comprehensive coverage for High Net Worth, agriculture, farming, and rural estates, highlighting McLarens’ multidisciplinary approach.
Tim Carpenter, Head of Private Clients & Estates, anticipates Usman’s contribution will enhance response speed, reduce secondary damage risk, and bolster specialist object restoration. Carpenter emphasizes her role in building rapport and confidence with HNW clients during incidents, a crucial factor in this sector.
Carpenter commented, “Lisa’s arrival marks a significant milestone in our Private Clients & Estates proposition. Her skill set amplifies our capabilities and strengthens client interactions. We’re thrilled to have her join us.”
McLarens continues its trajectory of multidisciplinary growth in the UK & Ireland.
