ARAG finalises integration of DAS UK following acquisition

ARAG completes DAS integration, launching new insurance company, law firm, and fresh branding in UK.

ARAG, the legal expenses insurance provider, has successfully integrated the DAS UK brand into its business operations, marking a milestone since its acquisition of the brand one year ago.  

The acquisition has positioned ARAG as the UK’s leading legal expenses and assistance provider.  

This expansion includes the establishment of its own insurance company, ARAG Legal Expenses Insurance Company Limited, and its own law firm, ARAG Law Limited.  

As part of the integration, ARAG is consolidating its Bristol-based staff and operations into a single central location while retaining its offices in Bedwas, South Wales, and Lime Street in London. 

While the disappearance of the DAS brand after 50 years marks the closing of one chapter, the integration is the beginning of another: the ARAG Group has unveiled a refreshed logo and visual identity to mark the occasion. 

ARAG CEO Tony Buss commented, “This is a huge milestone for ARAG, as we’ve taken a further step in bringing together two of the most respected legal expenses insurance providers in the UK market.” 

Buss also noted that having an insurance company and a dedicated law firm under ARAG’s umbrella will create substantial benefits for business partners and policyholders alike.  

“Personally, I’ve been very impressed by the professionalism with which all of our staff have worked to make this transition as seamless as possible. It fills me with great confidence for ARAG’s future,” he continued.
