McLarens unveils EMEA senior management board to drive next phase of growth

New leadership structure introduced following record year of 25% revenue growth in the region

Global claims services provider McLarens announced the launch of a new EMEA Senior Management Board (SMB) and expanded leadership framework, positioning the business for its next phase of strategic growth across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

The changes followed a record-breaking fiscal year for the region, which saw 25% revenue growth. This momentum was driven by an enhanced client management structure, deeper relationships with insurers and brokers, and the evolution of new service propositions—including the launch of McLarens’ London International offering, which has expanded its international and reinsurance client base.

As part of the broader leadership evolution, McLarens also introduced an EMEA Development Committee. Comprising senior figures with deep international expertise, the Committee was tasked with identifying and delivering strategic opportunities, including M&A activity, affiliate relationships, market entry, and new service innovation.

Steven Wallace, managing director of EMEA, said, “The EMEA region holds tremendous potential, and we’ve already seen the impact of greater collaboration across territories. Our goal is to further strengthen that alignment—supporting local teams, elevating best practices, and enhancing CAT and project response resourcing alongside global programme delivery for our clients.”

“As we grow, our focus remains the same: practitioner-led service with technical expertise at the core. This new framework ensures we continue placing our people first—through internal promotion, succession planning, and leadership development—while staying agile and ambitious for the future.”

As part of the restructure, McLarens confirmed that the UK and Irish operations would move forward under distinct leadership models. The change reflected the maturity of the Irish business under Glenn Goggin’s leadership, allowing both operations to accelerate growth in their respective markets while continuing to collaborate on client delivery and shared initiatives.

A new UK Operations Board, chaired by Toby Knight, was also introduced, with the UK Leadership Team remaining focused on operational excellence and business development. Several internal promotions were announced as part of the changes, underlining McLarens’ commitment to recognising and nurturing internal talent.

Since 2019, McLarens’ UK & Ireland business has more than tripled in turnover. The updated structure has positioned the business to remain agile, aligned, and ready to seize new opportunities across the EMEA region and beyond.
