Coronavirus update: #BCAwards 2020 postponement and entry deadline extension

In light of the developing situation in the UK regarding the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, Barker Brooks Communications, organiser of the British Claims Awards 2020, has decided to postpone the event until 5 November 2020 to ensure the health and safety of everyone involved.

The event will still take place at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London St Paul’s on 5 November 2020.

The entry deadline has been extended to 21 August 2020 and the judges’ meeting to finalise the shortlist has been rescheduled.

Entering the British Claims Awards is the perfect opportunity to demonstrate your dedication to claims as a service, which is more important than ever. Entries already received will still be submitted to the independent judging panel, although you can also update and resubmit your entries if you wish.

The health and safety of all participants remains the primary concern of Barker Brooks. Clearly, this was a very hard decision to make and Barker Brooks apologises for any inconvenience this might cause.

Barker Brooks will review the coronavirus pandemic situation regularly and keep attendees and sponsors informed of any updates. If you have any specific queries, please contact Simon Krawczynski via simon.krawczynski@barkerbrooks.co.uk or 01423 851150.

In the meantime, and as events and traditional media are postponed around the world, please feel free to use Claims Media (https://www.claimsmag.co.uk/) as your community platform to announce news via press releases and bylined articles, as well as share information and advice for your customers during these difficult times.
